Summer is here! and we all are ready to enjoy beach side summer vacations or out door activities with our beloved ones. but friends we don't want to get those outchy moments from a sunburn ! so check out few facts about sunburn and prevention, Home remedies .... and more importantly be prepared.

What Causes Sunburn :
when the amount of exposure to the sun or other ultraviolet light source exceeds the ability of the melanin to protect the skin. Melanin is the skin's protective coloring in other words pigment. Sunburn in a very light-skinned person may occur in less than 15 minutes of midday sun exposure, while a dark-skinned person may tolerate the same exposure for hours.
Symptoms :
When you get a sunburn, your skin turns red and hurts. If the burn is severe, you can develop swelling and sunburn blisters. You may even feel like you have the flu-- feverish, with chills, nausea, headache, and weakness. A few days later, your skin will start peeling and itching as your body tries to rid itself of sun-damaged cells.
Home Remedies :
Oatmeal, papaya and honey:
1. Take 1 cup chopped papaya
2. Crush the papaya to a paste
3. Add 2 tbsp oatmeal
4. Add 1 tbsp honey
5. Mix well
6. Apply this on your skin
7. Leave it for 30 min
8. Wash off with cold water

Lemons and honey:
1. Squeeze juice of 2 lemons
2. Add to it 3 tbsp honey
3. Mix well
4. Apply this mixture on the skin
5. Leave for 20 min
6. Wash off with water
7. Do this 2 times a day

Cucumber and lemon juice:
1. Cut 1 cucumber into small pieces
2. Crush it to make a paste
3. Press this paste on a sieve
4. Extract its juice
5. Add 2 tbsp lemon juice
6. Mix well
7. Apply on the affected area with cotton
8. Wash off after 15 min

Tomatoes and yogurt:
1. Crush 2-3 tomatoes
2. Press the pulp on a sieve
3. Extract the juice
4. Add 1 tbsp yogurt
5. Mix well
6. Apply on the affected area
7. Leave for 15-20 min
8. Do this 2 times a day

Note :
 you can look for some over the counter medications for Pain :
  • Over-the-counter medicines, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, help to relieve pain from sunburn. Do not give aspirin to children.Cortisone creams may help reduce the inflammation. if the symptoms are getting worst then see your  Doctor for medical help. 
Prevention is better than Cure :
  • Use a broad spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher. A broad spectrum sunscreen protects from both UVB and UVA rays.
  • Apply a generous amount of sunscreen to fully cover exposed skin. Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours or as often as the label says.
  • Apply sunscreen after swimming or sweating and even when it is cloudy.
  • Use a lip balm with sunscreen.
  • Wear a hat and other protective clothing. Light-colored clothing reflects the sun most effectively.
  • Stay out of the sun during hours when the sun's rays are strongest between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Wear sunglasses with UV protection

You can also eat fiber-rich foods like oatmeal and sandwiches on whole-grain bread. Plus, replace your morning cup of coffee with green tea as it contains powerful antioxidants and promotes fat burning.

Another very important aspect is to prepare your food at home using organic and whole food ingredients. If you are not used to eating a proper breakfast, it may take you a few days to adjust to this habit.

Hi friends here i am with an interesting topic today. One of the biggest and most common misconception about weight loss is that yoga can play no role losing weight or burning calories.

To lose weight they think that they need to survive on lettuce and feel the burn or needed to do some running so that the calories burn when you sweat or out of breath that’s the greatest myth.

Many forms or yoga is slower but a regular practice can lead to weight loss with full health benefits. 
Yoga puts mind and body connection in place.It calms the minds and helps to deal with stress.
Ok  now how is this relevant to weight loss? I know this is the questions some one may ask????????
Well have you ever realized you eat in stress? Or over eating because you are stressed or emotionally low?Yoga calms the mind and gives strength to combat negative feelings and eventually reduce emotional eating which leads to weight loss.

The result of regular yoga practice is that you get to know your body , mind and yourself. You have the time to focus on what you want in your life.

Whew! That was easy specially from the country I come from its not hard for me to explain at all.We all are in such a busy world never had time to think of our bodies and what we are dumping in to our system. Do we even enjoy eating slowly ? eating slowly can avoid GI track issues  gas , bloating , Acidity etc etc….  our body works hard every single second to digest food and get the fuel to run every single organ with no trouble. One thing goes wrong everything is wrong. Taking care of each and every single limb, ligament, nerve is possible and only possible through Yoga!

Chilled Cranberry Colada:
Ingredients:
4 cups Cranberry juice
2 cups Apple juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup water
2 cups ginger ale
Mint leaves for garnish
Process:
  • In a large pitcher mix cranberry juice , apple juice, lemon juice and  water,
  • Stir until blended. 
  • Chill until serve time before serving stir in ginger ale pour over ice filled glasses and garnish with mint leaves
  • Cranberries – High in Antioxidants and good for skin and boosting immunity.

Strawberry Lemonade 
Ingredients:
1 tbsp Sugar
1 cup water
Lemon Juice ( 1 lemon)
8  ripe straw  berries. 
Note : depending on the size and taste you can add 8 - 10
 Instructions:
Blend everything until smooth…..

Step 1: Decide 
what to  “Keep,” 
what to “Donate” 
what to  “Throw" 
what to  "Sell  if you are planning a Garage Sale"

Step 2: Judge
As a general rule, if you haven’t worn a garment over the last year, it’s time to find it a new home. Things in good condition go in the “Donate”  bag / garage sale box , while that old sweater can be thrown out.
Having a hard time, ask yourself a few questions to make a decision :
1.     Does it still fit? or in condition?
2.     Is it still in style or latest fashion?
3.     Do you want to wear it again or you are bored?
Not to get too sentimental. After all, the goal is to clean and create space.

Step 3: Organize
it’s time for an organizing mission. Make it easy on yourself by using closet Organization solutions! Not only will these innovative ideas create more space in your closet, they’ll make it simple for you to keep it neat year-round, making next year’s spring cleaning easier than ever!

I was so frustrated with CT scans, ER's and doctors office visits and prescription pills, its such a nightmare due to which  i am here after doing extensive  research and find  some home remdies or Natual ways to overcome the small problems day to day basis , may it be stress,health, Pressure,fatigue,aches or Digestion ...etc . 

So I Have decided to blog my journey as soon as i find something new i also call it as my new trend. you all feel the same way that you found a new trend in life or discovered something worked for you in other words share your ideas across. Here  i am and glad i took my first step to blog all my experiences and share  my thoughts to you all....
